No Butter Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:

No Butter Shrimp Scampi

  • 10 to 12 large shrimp, shelled, cleaned, and butterflied
  • Sea salt or kosher salt, to taste
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Chopped fresh basil for garnish

Directions:

  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil and sauté garlic until slightly brown.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until it turns pink.
  4. Serve immediately with sauce from pan.
  5. Garnish with basil.

Makes 4 servings.
