Ogo Kim Chee

Ingredients:

Ogo Kim Chee

  • 1 pound ogo (fresh seaweed)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 Hawaiian red pepper, seeded and chopped

Directions:

  1. Wash and blanch ogo; cut into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour over ogo and refrigerate in a covered container for 3 to 4 days before serving.

Makes 2 cups (about 24 servings).
