Oreo Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients:

Oreo Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Dutch-processed cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white baking chips, chopped
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped Oreo cookies (about 10 cookies)
  • 1 (1.55 ounces), Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme candy bar chopped

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Line bakings sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  5. In another large bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture.
  6. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  7. Drop by tablespoonful’s 2 inches apart onto baking sheets.
  8. Bake 6-8 minutes or until set.
  9. Cool for 1 minute.
  10. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Makes about 8 dozen.
