Marinade:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup shoyu
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon white miso (Japanese fermented soybean paste)
- 2 tablespoons mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 6 cloves garlic, press through a garlic press
- 6 slices ginger root, press through a garlic press
- 5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
