Peanut Butter Clouds

Ingredients:

Peanut Butter Clouds

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. In large bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and peanut butter; gradually add sugars and cream thoroughly.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  3. Sift flour with baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  4. Chill dough until easy to handle.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  6. Grease baking sheets.
  7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets.
  8. Dip a fork in flour and flatten dough forming a crisscross pattern on top.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

Makes 6 dozen.
