Transferring, Buying or Selling a Property with a Rooftop Solar System

Important information for current and prospective property owners and realtors

When purchasing a property with a rooftop solar system, you will assume all the rights and responsibilities of the previous owner's existing agreement, allowing you to remain enrolled and enjoy the full benefits of that program. Please refer to the agreement, which outlines the term and conditions for operation and maintenance of the privately-owned system to maintain connection to the grid in accordance with program and regulatory rules and requirements.

If the lease of your rooftop solar system has changed, documentation may be requested.
