Banana Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients:

Banana Ice Cream Dessert

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, sliced
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 up butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together graham crackers, the 1/4 cup melted butter, and the 1/4 cup sugar.
  2. Press crumb mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  3. Layer bananas over graham cracker crust.
  4. Layer sliced ice cream over bananas; place pan in freezer.
  5. In a medium saucepan, heat chocolate chips, butter, and powdered sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat; cool.
  7. Spread chocolate mixture over ice cream and freeze until firm.

Makes 20 servings.
