Butterscotch Candy Bark

Ingredients:

Butterscotch Candy Bark

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 (11-ounce) package butterscotch-flavored morsels, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups thin pretzel sticks
  • 2 cups dry roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 1 (10-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate-covered raisins (optional)

Directions:

  1. Coat a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Microwave 1 1/3 cups butterscotch morsels, chocolate chips and peanut butter in large, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100 percent) power for 1 minute; stir.
  3. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add pretzels, peanuts and chocolate covered raisins (optional); stir well to coat.
  5. Spread into prepared baking dish.
  6. Place remaining butterscotch morsels in small, heavy-duty plastic bag.
  7. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (70 percent) power for 30 seconds; knead bag to mix.
  8. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, kneading until smooth.
  9. Cut tiny corner from bag; squeeze to drizzle over candy.
  10. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
  11. Break into bite-size pieces.
  12. Serve in cupcake liners.

Makes 3 dozen.
