Cajun Strip Loin Steak

Ingredients:

Cajun Strip Loin Steak

  • 1 tablespoon Cajun spice
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
  • 1 small piece of lemon rind, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 strip loin steak (about 8 ounces)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except the steak in a stainless steel bowl; whisk until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Place steak into the bowl, pressing steak into the mixture, coating both sides of steak with the seasonings.
  3. Heat a sauté pan on medium heat.
  4. Cook steak to desired doneness.

Makes 1 serving.
