- 1/2 lb boneless chicken breast
- 15 fresh basil leaves
- 3 Kaffir lime leaves (optional)
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup slivered straw mushrooms
- 1/4 cup shredded bamboo shoots, or chop suey
- yam (jicama)
- 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 to 4 red chili peppers, seeded and chopped (optional)
- 2 cups chopped red cabbage (optional)
