Chocolate Chip Brownies

Ingredients:

Chocolate Chip Brownies

  • 2½ cups brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2¾ cups flour
  • 2½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1¾ cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  3. Cream sugar and butter.
  4. Add eggs; mix well.
  5. Combine dry ingredients and add to butter mixture.
  6. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.

Makes 32 bars.
