Chocolate Nachos

Ingredients:

Chocolate Nachos

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 8 ounces fresh raspberries
  • 1 package (20 ounces) 10" flour tortilla; cut into triangles
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Sugar to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate morsels
  • 8 ounces white chocolate morsels

Directions:

  1. In a large sauté pan, heat orange juice on medium heat; add sugar until dissolved; add cranberries and raspberries; cook until jelly-like consistency; set aside.
  2. In a large pot, deep fry tortillas until crisp; drain on paper towels.
  3. Sprinkle tortilla with sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  4. Melt dark and white chocolate separately in a double boiler.
  5. Drizzle dark chocolate, then white chocolate on tortillas.
  6. Allow chocolate to set; serve with dip.

Makes 12 servings.
