- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Cut in 1/2 cup of the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in pecans.
- Press into bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat chocolate with the remaining 1/4 cup butter over low heat until chocolate is melted.
- Combine remaining ingredients; slowly stir in chocolate mixture.
- Pour over crust.
- Bake 20 more minutes or until set.
- Cool and cut into bars.
