Easy Mango Sticky Buns

Ingredients:

Easy Mango Sticky Buns

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped ripe mangoes
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ground cinnamon
  • 2 cans (17.3 ounces size) refrigerated biscuits

Directions:

  1. Preheat electric oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup and butter; cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add the mangoes and nuts.
  5. Pour into prepared pan.
  6. In a shallow bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Cut each biscuit in half; dip in cinnamon sugar.
  8. Place biscuits, cut side down, over mango mixture.
  9. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Invert onto serving plate; serve warm.

Makes 12 to 16 servings.
