Festive Fruit Pizza

Ingredients:

Festive Fruit Pizza

Crust:

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour

Topping:

  • 1 1/2 blocks (12 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Fruits of your choice

Directions:

Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter; mix in brown sugar and flour.
  3. Spread dough onto a standard-size pizza pan.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and set aside to cool completely.

Topping:

  1. Beat the cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla.
  2. Spread cream cheese mixture onto cooled crust, all the way to the edges.
  3. Place in the refrigerator to cool and allow cream cheese to set.
  4. Meanwhile, slice fruits, patting fruit dry with paper towels (this keeps the crust from getting soggy).
  5. Place sliced fruits on top of cream cheese mixture; chill until ready to serve.
