Fluffy Banana Tea Bread

Ingredients:

Fluffy Banana Tea Bread

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  3. In large bowl of electric mixer, cream butter with sugar, eggs, and vanilla at high speed for 1 1/2 minutes.
  4. Sift flour with baking soda and salt.
  5. Add flour and remaining ingredients to creamed mixture.
  6. Mix at low speed for about 1/2 minute.
  7. Pour into prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 1 hour.

Makes 1 loaf (12 servings).
