Fruit Cup

Ingredients:

Fruit Cup

  • 4 apple bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 pineapple, pared and cubed or 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in natural juice, including liquid
  • 2 firm-ripe papayas, pared and cubed
  • 1 can (30 oz) fruit cocktail, including liquid
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, cut in halves
  • Mint sprigs

Directions:

  1. Place bananas in bowl and sprinkle with the lemon juice; stir to coat slices.
  2. In a large bowl; combine pineapple, papaya, fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges, and bananas.
  3. Add cherries and mix lightly.
  4. Garnish with mint and chill before serving.

Makes 10 to 12 servings.
