- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease and flour an 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat; set aside to cool.
- In a small bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla; add sugar gradually.
- Mix in the chocolate mixture, vanilla and flour.
- Stir in optional add-in(s).
- Pour into prepared pan; bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until done.
- While brownies are still hot, spread miniature marshmallows over top; cool.
- Frost with Chocolate Frosting (recipe below).
Makes 9 servings.
Note: You can double this recipe for a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Chocolate Frosting:
- Place sugar, butter, and milk into a saucepan; bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute; remove from heat.
- Add chocolate chips and vanilla and beat until smooth.
