Hot Crab Dip On Garlic Toast

Ingredients:

Hot Crab Dip On Garlic Toast

  • 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1/2 lb imitation crab, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried tarragon leaves
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella and cheddar)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Vietnamese hot chili sauce
  • Garlic toast slices

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, onion, crab, and tarragon.
  2. Stir until mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Add mayonnaise, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, and chili sauce; mix well.
  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Spread crab mixture on garlic toast and place under broiler in electric oven to lightly brown the top.

Makes 8 to 10 appetizer servings.
