Jon's EZ BBQ-Ribs

Ingredients:

Jon's EZ BBQ-Ribs

  • 3 full slabs (about 6 pounds) pork baby back ribs
  • Water
  • 1 tablespoon salt, divided
  • 3/4 cup KC Masterpiece or Johnny Walker Bourbon BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup Frank's Red Hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce, or more, to taste

Directions:

  1. Cut slabs of pork into 3 or 4 rib portions.
  2. Place ribs in a large pot and cover with water that has ½ tablespoon salt added to it.
  3. Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Drain and rinse ribs.
  5. Place ribs back in pot and cover with again more water that has ½ tablespoon salt added to it.
  6. Bring to boil again; reduce heat to medium heat and cook for 90 minutes.
  7. Combine BBQ sauce, hot sauce, and Tabasco.
  8. Add more Tabasco if you want the ribs spicier.
  9. Remove ribs from pot and broil over a grill on medium-low heat, basting with sauce.

Makes 10 to 12 servings.
