Kansas City BBQ Baked Beans
- 1/2 cup prepared Kansas City style barbeque sauce, substitute with your favorite bottled sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1/8 tablespoon sea salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium Maui onion, chopped
- 2 cups chopped kale, leaves only
- 2 cups chopped Swiss chard, leaves only
- 9 ounces of cooked chicken or turkey sausage links, cut in 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 15-ounce cans navy beans, rinsed and drained
