Korean-Style Beef Cubes

Ingredients:

Korean-Style Beef Cubes

  • 1 1/2 pound boneless sirloin steak
  • 1/4 cup shoyu
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 Hawaiian red peppers, seeded and minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons shoyu
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed, toasted and ground

Directions:

  1. Cut meat into 3/4 inch cubes.
  2. In a large bowl combine 1/4 cup shoyu, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, sugar, onions, and peppers; marinate meat in sauce for 1 hour.
  3. Before cooking, drain meat; heat oil in skillet.
  4. Add meat and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until done.
  5. Sprinkle with the 1 1/2 tablespoons shoyu and sesame seed before serving.

Makes about 4 dozen.
