Lemon-Sesame Asparagus

Ingredients:

Lemon-Sesame Asparagus

  • 2 packages (10 ounce size) frozen asparagus spears OR 1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus spears
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 4 teaspoons sesame seed
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Cook asparagus according to package directions.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter; stir in sesame seed and heat on low until seeds are golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add lemon juice and salt.
  4. Drain asparagus spears; arrange on serving dish.
  5. Pour butter sauce over asparagus.

Makes 6 servings.
