Mango Angel Dessert

Ingredients:

Mango Angel Dessert

  • 9-inch prepared angel food cake
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped mangoes
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

Directions:

  1. With a serrated knife, cut a 2-inch layer off the top of the cake; set aside.
  2. Carefully hollow out the cake leaving a 1/2 -inch shell.
  3. In small bowl of electric mixer, mix lime juice and milk until thickened; spoon into cake shell.
  4. Spoon mangoes over lime mixture.
  5. Replace cake top cover, and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Makes 8 servings.
