Mango Jam

Ingredients:

Mango Jam

  • 3 cups mango pulp
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, lower heat to medium and cook, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches jam consistency, about 20 minutes.
  3. Sterilize jars.
  4. Pour jam into pour into prepared jars; seal*.

Makes 28 servings.

*Note: Because of possible mold contamination, paraffin or wax seals are no longer recommended for any sweet spread. To prevent growth of molds and loss of good flavor or color, fill products hot into sterile Mason jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace, seal with self-sealing lids, and process 5 minutes in a boiling-water canner.
