Microwave Breakfast Ring (Microwave Monkey Bread)

Ingredients:

Microwave Breakfast Ring (Microwave Monkey Bread)

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/3 brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Separate biscuits and cut into quarters.
  2. In a 5-cup microwave tube pan, combine brown sugar, butter, and water.
  3. Microwave on high power for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in nuts.
  5. Add biscuit pieces and coat with sugar mixture; arrange evenly in pan.
  6. Rotating pan 1/2 turn after 2 minutes, microwave on medium high power for 5 minutes.
  7. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve warm.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
