Minted Peas

Ingredients:

Minted Peas

  • 2 (10 ounce size) packages frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 sprigs mint, 1-inch long
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Directions:

  1. Place peas, salt, 2 mint sprigs, and water in saucepan and cook until peas are tender; drain.
  2. Remove mint, add butter and sugar; sprinkle with remaining mint, chopped fine.

Makes 6 servings.
