Mom's Fried Cabbage

Taste of Waipahu on November 7, 2004.
Ingredients:
Half head of cabbage, chopped
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon diced onion
1/4 cup fried bacon bits or any cooked meat that you prefer
1 teaspoon McCormick® Season All
Pinch of salt and pepper
Directions:
- Soak the cabbage in a bowl of water.
- Drain cabbage.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil; add the cabbage, sauté for about 1 minute, add the onion, bacon bits, season all, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Sauté for another minute, or until cabbage is cooked but still crisp.
- Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
