Peanut Butter Banana French Toast

Ingredients:

Peanut Butter Banana French Toast

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 dash vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, divided
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, vanilla, salt, milk and cinnamon.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on top each slice of bread; top with banana slices.
  3. Place both slices together to make a sandwich.
  4. You can also substitute the bananas with your favorite jam.
  5. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  6. Dip sandwich into egg mixture and place in heated skillet.
  7. Cook until brown on both sides.
  8. Serve hot.
