Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies

Ingredients:

Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine brownie mix, melted butter, cream cheese, and egg.
  3. Mix (about 50 strokes) with spoon until well blended (the dough will be sticky).
  4. Drop batter by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart, making about 24 cookies.
  5. Smooth edges of each cookie to make each cookie round.
  6. In a small bowl, mix powered sugar and peanut butter with a spoon until mixture forms a ball.
  7. Using your hands, roll rounded teaspoonfuls of peanut butter mixture into 24 balls; lightly press peanut butter balls into the centers of each cookie.
  8. Bake 10 to 14 minutes, or until edges are set.
  9. Cool cookies on cookie sheet at least 30 minutes.

Makes 24 cookies.
