Pulehu Steak

Ingredients:

Pulehu Steak

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2-inch piece ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 4 (8-ounce) ribeye steaks
  • Hawaiian salt and fresh black pepper to taste
  • Lime slices, chopped cilantro, sliced chili peppers for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine garlic, ginger, and sugar into a paste; rub over each steak.
  2. Add salt and pepper; set aside.
  3. Grill steak over high heat to desired degree of doneness.
  4. Transfer to a plate; let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. Garnish with lime, cilantro, and chili peppers.
