- Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes; drain.
- In a large bowl, mash potatoes.
- Mash and stir in half and half and pumpkin puree.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Do not over mix.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
- Garnish with chives or parsley.
