Roast Pork with Miso

Ingredients:

3/4 cup miso
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 piece ginger (2 to 3 inches), crushed
2 cloves garlic, crushed
5 pounds pork butt or roast

Directions:

  1. Combine miso, soy sauce, and sugar in the slow cooker.
  2. Add ginger and garlic; mix well.
  3. Place pork in slow cooker and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or low for 8 to 9 hours or until done.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
