Spinach Salad with Dried Cranberries
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup blanched slivered almonds
- 2 pounds fresh spinach, rinsed and torn into bite-sizes pieces
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 pound bacon, chopped and fried until crisp
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Dressing:
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon minced onion
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
