Supreme Chocolate Cake:
- Preheat electric oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or two 9-inch round baking pans.
- Dissolve cocoa in the boiling water.
- Sift flour with baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In large bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with cocoa mixture, beating after each addition.
- Pour into prepared pan; bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
- Cool and frost with Chocolate Frosting.
Makes 24 servings.

Chocolate Frosting:
- In a saucepan, combine cream and sugar; bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for 6 minutes.
- Remove from heat; add butter, chocolate, and vanilla, stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
- Place saucepan over bowl of iced water and beat until frosting is thick.
Makes about 3 cups.
