HONOLULU, Aug. 7, 2019 – Mark your calendars and save the date for a community celebration of Waimanalo:

What: “Ka Piko: Celebrating Waimanalo” is a family-friendly event that brings the community together and highlights the unique qualities of the Waimanalo ahupuaa through food, culture and education

When: Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Sea Life Park (41-202 Kalanianaole Highway #7)

Featuring: Hawaiian musical performances by Na Hoa (Keoni Souza, Ikaika Blackburn, and Halehaku Seabury-Akaka), Sean Naauao, Kulaiwi (Kawika Kahiapo, Lehua Kalima, and Shawn Pimental), and Waipuna (Kale Hannahs, Matthew Sproat, and David Kamakahi). Other highlights include a Farmer’s Market, specialty merchandise, food booths, educational activities for keiki, crafts, and more!
