Onion Tarte
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 lb onions, chopped
- 1 cup flour
- 2 cups warm milk
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup light cream
- 1/4 lb bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces and blanched
- Salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste
- 10-inch unbaked pie shell
