Sun Power for Schools
Pa‘ia Elementary School
Paia Elementary School is the fourteenth school in Maui County to receive a photovoltaic (PV) system. The PV system was installed on their new cafeteria on December 8, 2014. This project was funded by Sun Power for Schools customer and contributions.
System Details:
- Total Peak rating of 1.475 kilowatts
- Five (5) Solar World 245 watt polycrystalline modules
- One (1) Solar World 250 watt polycrystalline module
- One (1) SMA Sunny Boy 3000TL-US 3,000 watt inverter
- One (1) SMA Sunny SensorBox weather station
