Equipment Upgrade Schedule
We’re upgrading our EV charging stations to improve your charging experience. The modifications will require a prolonged outage while we make the improvements. Please visit the Hawaiian Electric Fast Charging Locations Map or https://www.plugshare.com/ to find an alternative public EV charging location. The table below provides the current upgrade schedule to plan ahead. This table will be updated as more information becomes available.

The Shops at Mauna Lani: During the process of renewing our EV charger agreement at The Shops at Mauna Lani, Hawaiian Electric was informed that ownership of the property is changing. Until the situation stabilizes, we will not be pursuing replacement of our fast charger at this site. We will evaluate options for restoring EV charging access to the area pending a decision from the Public Utilities Commission on our Public EV Charger Expansion Project.
