All Fruit Apple and Pear Tart

Ingredients:

All Fruit Apple and Pear Tart

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 9-inch premade pie crust
  • 2 cups thinly sliced sweet apples (like Honeycrisp), skins removed
  • 2 cups thinly sliced ripe pears
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Coat a 9 1/2-inch round tart pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Press pie crust into pan, folding down the edges and pressing into the sides of pan to create crust.
  4. Place in refrigerator until ready for use.
  5. In a large bowl, mix together apples, pears, cinnamon, lemon juice, apple sauce, raisins, and cornstarch.
  6. Toss gently to coat apples evenly.
  7. Add apple mixture to prepared crust.
  8. For a more refined look, layer slices in a pattern.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until edges of the tart are golden brown.
  10. Cool completely, then serve.
