Avocado Poke

Ingredients:

Avocado Poke

  • 2 medium avocados, cubed
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup ogo (seaweed), rinsed and chopped (available at local supermarkets fresh seafood section)
  • 1/2 cup Ewa sweet onions, small diced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 2 Hawaiian chili peppers or to taste, minced
  • 1 tablespoon inamona (roasted kukui nut)
  • 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium shoyu

Directions:

  1. In a large glass bowl, combine all ingredients and mix gently.
  2. Covered and chill in refrigerator.
  3. Serve with taro chips.

Makes 4 servings.
