Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients:

Breakfast Pizza

  • 2 cups all-purpose baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup minced sausage (optional)
  • 1/2 cup minced fresh spinach, bell pepper, or mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/2 cup prepared spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or basil
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat electric oven to 425°F.
  2. Lightly oil a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, combine baking mix and milk; stir until soft dough forms.
  4. On a floured board, gently knead dough a few times.
  5. Divide dough into 4 pieces; place on prepared sheet.
  6. Press each piece into a circle; pinch edges to form a rim.
  7. In a skillet, saute desired meat and vegetables.
  8. Stir in spaghetti sauce and herbs.
  9. Spread 1/4 of the sauce mixture around edges of each pizza.
  10. Put 2 tablespoons cheese around rim and crack egg in center.
  11. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until crust is browned and egg white is cooked.
