Chicken and Hoi Sin Sauce

Ingredients:

Chicken and Hoi Sin Sauce

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons salad oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced young ginger root
  • 3/4 cup sliced onions
  • 2 tablespoons hoi sin sauce (Chinese vegetable sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions:

  1. Cut chicken into cubes.
  2. Heat oil in wok or skillet; saute chicken for 2 minutes.
  3. Add ginger and onions; stir-fry for 1 minute.
  4. Combine hoi sin sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and water.
  5. Add to chicken and cook for 1 minute.

Makes 6 servings.
