Chiribira Age (Chive Fritters)
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 1 /2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon dashinomoto seasoning (optional; available in the Asian section)
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 to 1 cups chiribira (chives), cut into 1-inch lengths
- 1/2 cup agehan (deep fried fish cake), chopped (available in the Asian section)
- Oil for frying
