- 3 pounds chuck roast, cut into 1 1/2-inch chunks
- 2 teaspoons salt and pepper mixture (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 large round white onion, cut into chunks and separated
Sauce:
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 6 tablespoons low-sodium shoyu
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup local honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
