First mixture:
- Blend margarine and sugar thoroughly.
- Add flour and blend to make a crumbly mixture.
- Press evenly and firmly into bottom of unoiled shallow baking pan 9" x 13".
- Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until delicately browned.
Second mixture:
- Beat eggs well, add sugar gradually and beat thoroughly.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
- Drop by spoonfuls on top of previously baked crust and spread evenly.
- Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
- Cool slightly and while still warm, cut in thirds or quarters and remove from pan.
- Then cut each into bars or squares.
Makes 2 1/2-3 dozen bars.
