Ddok Sanjeok (Korean Rice Cake Skewers)
- 1/3 pound beef
- 3 medium size Korean rice cake rolls (available at Korean markets)
- 1 medium carrot
- 10 small green onions
- 5 dried oak mushrooms, soaked
Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 large green onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame salt (recipe follows)
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- Black pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
