- 2-3 large Ewa sweet onions
- 1 tablespoon pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
