Finnish Beef Soup
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 carrots, cubed
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 1 package (9 ounces) prepared vegetable soup mix
- 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 8 cups water
