Green Squash and String Beans (Lenten)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (12-ounce) package fresh string beans, cut into 11/2-inch pieces
- 2 medium sized green squash (zucchini), cut length wise into 11/2-inch pieces
- 2 large yellow onions, peeled and sliced thin
- 1 cup fresh tomatoes (cut into ½-inch pieces)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 teaspoon fresh parsley)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt to taste
